1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BookFlashReel ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The Service

BookFlashReel is a marketplace that connects clients ("Clients") with independent professional videographers ("Creators"). We facilitate bookings and payments but are not a party to the service agreement between Client and Creator.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using it, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into binding agreements.

4. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received and a Creator accepts.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details (venue, date, time).
Creators are independent contractors, not employees of BookFlashReel.
BookFlashReel is not liable for Creator cancellations; we will assist in finding a replacement where possible.

5. Payments & Refunds

All prices displayed are inclusive of platform fees unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation by Client (72+ hours before event): full refund minus payment processing fees.
Cancellation by Client (under 72 hours): 50% refund.
Cancellation by Creator: full refund to Client.
Disputes must be raised within 7 days of the event date.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Creators retain ownership of all footage they produce.
Upon delivery, Clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use the reels for personal and social media use.
Commercial licensing requires a separate written agreement with the Creator.
BookFlashReel may use anonymised clips for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

7. Creator Accounts

Creators must accurately represent their skills, portfolio, and availability.
Creators must hold any licences required by law (e.g. drone pilot certification).
BookFlashReel may suspend or terminate Creator accounts for policy violations, poor ratings, or repeated cancellations.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Circumvent the Platform to arrange off-platform payments with Creators.
Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews.
Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookFlashReel is not liable for:

The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Creators.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BookFlashReel harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice.
